The sugar paste consists of sugar, water and lemon juice, that is kept at room temperature making it safer for sensitive skin. Although the paste will not adhere to live skin cells, it does adhere to dead skin cells, therefore exfoliating the skin leaving it extremely smooth.

The sugar paste is applied to the body against the direction of hair growth and then removed with the hair growth to remove the hair at the root. This ensures very little hair breakage, less opportunity for ingrown hairs, and less pain.

For best results, it is recommended to exfoliate 2 days before the appointment, and 2 days after. The length of your hair must be longer than a grain of rice to ensure even and easier removal. Pain medication is also recommended prior to your appointment for more comfort.
